FRANCE
France, with a deep history in food, wine is the perfect
companion in it's story. But, where do you begin Bordeaux, Loire,
or Champagne.
No matter how you tell the story, you will begin with the
classic grapes. Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon,
Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. It is the foundation for all wine that
we've come to enjoy. Wines with a rustic and earthy familiarity
by which all wines where once measured. For most of us, it was
our first introduction to wine, for others, well, they're still trying to
understand or answer the question, What is it? I'll tell you, it's a
carefully structured system of quality. Standards that have consistent
and dependable results in wines that some believe would last for
ages. A history that would be to long to narrate here.
But all is not lost, the best advice I could give anyone is to
taste from the different regions and understand what makes them
different. Then compare those wines with wines of the New World.
The answer; difference. The French believed every wine should
taste of the area from which it was grown. Be unique and true to
it's Terrior. Below are samples of wines from this area you can
purchase from us.
