I had the chance to meet Julie in September 2006. She had visited The Wine House
on previous occasions, but at this time she had other requests, other than a wine purchase.
We did a private wine tasting for Julie and her office. We then joined together in education
of wine and finances calling them "Wine, Wealth and Wisdom".
When it comes to financial planning, Julie really knows her business. After 25 years working
in health care, she decided on a change of pace, but still wanting to work with people. She would
often overhear people talk about financial planning and would often hear them say "I am dumb when
it comes to this" or "I have no idea what this means".
Julie went back to school and obtained her life and health insurance licenses as well as her full
securities license. To continue working with people, helping them improve their lives. Julie now
focuses on "financial health" rather than "physical health".
Julie works with both individual investors as well as small businesses. Her position is truly working
with people and helping them to learn more about their money. Julie encourages planning-the
importance of not letting life happen to them, but offering education to help people make informed
decisions, retirement as well as estate planning. Julie is also a certified funeral preplanner so
is able to answer potentially difficult questions and encourage consideration for individuals and families.
When Julie isn't working, she loves spending time with her family, her children's high school activities,
volunteering for church, Lutheran High School, Sheboygan County Horse and Pony project and of
course drinking wine.
