MEXICO
The time has come to say goodbye to one of our best discoveries.
We will not stock this line of wines anymore and we hope you've enjoyed them as
much as we did bringing them to you. As always we will continue to find
hidden jewels in Mexico. I'm sure out there in the market you may find the Jubelio wines
and if so, Viva el Vino! Viva Mexico

Mexico? They make wine in Mexico? Is the question
I am asked quite often when I introduce a customer to a bottle
from this area. Vineyards have been planted in Mexico since the
early 1500's, credit the Spaniards for Mexican wines. When you
consider that Mexico is connected to South America, why not wine?
No, we're not talking Tijuana, but close.
We're looking further North to Baja California. There you
will find five regions worth the taste. Santo Tomas, Rancho Viejo,
Valle de Guadalupe, and the districts of Valle Redondo and Tanama.
Grapes of choice, the classic French grapes: Cabernet
Sauvignon, Merlot and Petite Sirah, just to name a few. Red grapes
appear to be the favorite for this area. I expect quite a few good wines
to come from Baja California, Mexico. Below are examples of wines
from this area you can purchase from us.
