SOUTH AFRICA
South Africa, with it's occasional shores and exotic landscape
who could have imagined it. Can you say "Pinotage". Just making
wine from the classics wasn't enough for South African winemakers,
that they created the Pinotage, a cross between two French varietals,
the Pinot Noir and Cinsaut. The result, a wine that has depth and deep
in color, an inviting nose and a taste that keeps you guessing. I feel
it's also versatile with foods. If white wines are what you crave, look
to grapes such as Chenin Blanc, Gewurztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc.
I just cannot pick a specific area, so explore and happy hunting. Below
are examples of wines from this area you can purchase from us.
