Wines of Switzerland

We have sampled through many wines from an area that people just do not think about.

Well let me tell you first hand, that you are missing out on a wine producing country that's more

often misunderstood than un-heard of.  It's an area who's wines are as diverse as the language.

Where else can you experience four, I repeat four regional or country wine styles. I'll list them for you

A. Switzerland, the heartland

B. Italy, the Italian section (Ticino)

C. German, which lies to the East

D. France, which lies to the west

This melting pot produces wines of varied styles and grapes. The grapes which are the front runner and

most closely associated with Swiss wines are Chasselas for white and Gamay and Pinot Noir for reds.

In the coming months we will introduce you to the wines of Switzerland and as always,

"Let Your Palate Be The Guide"
