with the foods you prepare?  I would like to share with you some tips

on pairing wine with food.  Use this as a guideline to choose wine.

 

Tips for Pairing wine with Food

Semi-Sweet of Dry fruity wines do well with spicy or Savory Spicy dishes.

Foods with Acidic or Tart flavors need a young wine with an equal level of acidity and fruit flavors.

Match sweet for sweet with desserts of contrast with a Semi-Sweet or low alcohol Sparkling wine.

Grapes and Styles For Pairing Wine With Food

Crisp and Fresh or Light and Fruity 11-12% alcohol.

Gamay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Grenache, Sauvignon Blanc, 

Chardonnay No Oak, Riesling

Medium Bodied No Oak-Lite Oak 3-6mo 12-13% alcohol

Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Riesling Dry

Merlot, Pinot Noir, Grenache

Rich and Full Wood Aged 13-15% alcohol

Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, 

Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Merlot, Syrah
